Default Re: STOLEN LS-6 CHEVELLE PLEASE LOOK!!!!!!!!

This really hits home with me on many levels,as Bill is also a good person and loves his Chevelles as much as anyone. But that's beside the point,as anyone who enjoys cars as much as we do,can imagine what this must feel like. They have a blurry Videotape of the theft in progress, thanks in part to the Camera/motion sensor mounted in the parking lot taking pictures. There was a Downpour of rain at the same time of the theft, and the rain drops are what made the camera activate and continue to take pix, although blurry from the rain drops as well. The thieves stole the plain white enclosed trailer Bills' Chevelle was stored in at a Hotel parking lot just this last Friday AM, June 23rd,2006 on his way to the Mid Atlantic Chevelle Show.

This is the LS-6 Chevelle that was stolen.
This is a 1970 LS-6 Chevelle that the N.C.O.A.was Raffling off to honor their 10th Anniversary.
Bill won it through that raffle held in 1992.
It was restored by SuperChevys lmtd. in Fla. back then.
I remember this car vividly as I must have sent in 100 entires just to try & win it.
To add what Jim said,it is an original Tuxedo Black-Black Vinyl top-White interior Bucket seat, console car. It's a Frame Up restored with 18,005 miles on it.It has the very scarce RPO U-46 Fiber Optic Vigilite Lamp Monitoring option. This is easily detected by the Chrome caps mounted atop both fenders, and interior rear package tray mounted Cobra eye.
It has full factory Gauges,Tilt St.Wheel,AM 8-tk Radio,And Rear Window Defogger.

Bill has allowed me to say that the Original engine #3963512,has a casting date of C2870.
The engine pad is stamped T0420 CRV with the CON VIN 10R243455 right behind it.
The cars assembled date is 05C..1970 May,3rd week.
The original GM Blue door label is still attached to the drivers door showing the Full Vin #136370R243455,..5/70.
It's original WO M-22 Transmission has the CON VIN on it,and the Original 4:10 posi rearend shows the CRW suffix.
There was no Buildsheet found for this car,but it does have it's original Protect-O-Plate.
The thieves got a 7 hour jump, before the theft was discovered.
A car like this does not go unnoticed,so Please watch for it,or any parts that you suspect could have come from it,and Notify authorities at once.
