Nope, the red a/t w/ p/s deuce from Capitol has not been found. I found out by accident (sort of) that it was an R title in AL in '73'ish, and was taken to MO by a salvage company - I believe it was a flood vehicle. The deuce was then held for about 6 mos or so, then sold to a local guy in '74. I have never been able to find that guy.

According to the body numbers, it is indeed the last deuce produced. It's one of the many research cars I work on from time to time, would love to find it and go pure stock racing with it.

When I bought my deuce from J.Griffin in Gallatin, TN, he told me of a guy in Arab, AL who called about the silver deuce that J. had sold previously. This guy in Arab had bought a silver one new, and totalled it. We are not exactly sure of the dealer, but speculate that it was the Richard Kelley Chev. car from Birmingham - it is not known if this original owner lived in Arab at the time of purchase.
