Wasn't Copo, Fleet & Shop Orders all written in the same box? .
Could be the Line-Job number noted which kept the guys on the line straight on which car they were working on before enough of a car was there? . Not sure on coupes but I think I remember Noland Adams book showing them on the rear of the tub on roadsters....visible only before the body panels were on? . ~ Pete
