The best (and only way, really, if it is good plate) is electrolytically. Take the parts to a small chrome shop and they'll put them in their tanks and strip them quick. Just as the chrome is electroplated, it is "electro -un-plated. They just reverse polarity. Non-ferrous base metals can have chrome stripped by dipping in hydrochloric acid. Dave |
