Never will you repeat such a rivarly as Sox & Martin vs. Da Grump. My favorite of all time, this original signed by Ronnie Sox & Bill Jenkins should be posted here in honor of one of the best Pro Stock Gentleman ever. God Speed Ronnie.

My daughter was just at the Mopars at the strip in Vegas and helped action off some numbered prints and it raised 60,000 dollars towards cancer research in Ronnie's honor. Buddy Martin was there and he autographed the prints if the buyers wanted. Ronnie was a very humble and gracious man. I met him when I was 16 years old and I got to meet him again in 2000 and he signed some of my diecast and my racing jacket. I will never part with any of those items. He was and always will be my favorite racer.

"Clean Ronnie" Sox (aka Mr. 4-speed) was not only one of the greatest gear pullers who ever lived but a great person and a hero. He will be missed, I saw him at York last year, he showed up even though he was ill.

No one ever rowed a 4-speed like Ronnie Sox.
RIP "Mr. 4-speed"...

I talked with Buddy Martin last fall at the East Coast Drag Reunion and he mentioned that Ronnie's health was failing. I looked him in the eye and he said "it ain't good".
Remembering back thru all the years that I watched him work his magic with a 4-speed here in NC and up/down the East coast. He was always just a 'Good Old Boy' to me. My only regret is I never got his autograph. Rest in Peace with a 4-speed Ronnie. ![]()
