[ QUOTE ]
A whole 8 minutes away. I'll bring my camera tomorrow and take some pics during lunch. Or should we do the video camera thing again. LOL!!

Darren...thanks so much for the pics. Now I'm on a mission to see if I can find any old pics of the house. I think we have some from the blizzard of '68...

You meant 67 right? A senior moment perhaps? http://www.chipublib.org/004chicago/...nowstorms.html

I grew up in Mt. Prospect for a while. We lived right near Busse Flowers off of 14 (under the water tower) and remember that Mt. Prospect dumped mountains of snow in Busse's field.

Hmmm...I think we got there in 68? I know we have pics of the house under a ton of snow. I could be wrong...it "could" be a "Senior moment"!

Man, talk about flash backs! Does anybody remember or was old enough to go see any groups at the Cellar(sp) in Arlington Heights?

Close but not the Cellar was "B ginnings" in Schaumburg. I saw The Boyzz there in 1981. Had an awesome questionable ID back then.

I lived 4 doors south of The Whale which is actually a certifiable crawling distance. Actually in the "summer kitchen/servants quarters" of a mansion right on River Road and Grand. The flood of "87 chased me out.
