I'm not up on the Norwood F-bodies,but a Buildsheet would be most helpful in this situation and if I remember correctly,that plant was stingy.
Perhaps someone else here can answer your question..maybe paceme?

I believe it was 1 orange stripe and 1 white stripe for the M20.

What I found on a 69 NOR 07A M20 Z28:



The third stripe was different than the first two in that it wasnt the shiny metal underneath, but there was definately a brushed orange stripe there.

These are from a 1968 Camaro.
Norwood built L-78/M-21/3:73.

Colors are................Orange..............Green...... ........White closest to trans.

1st stripe starts a foot & half away from transmission end.
