Dan,--The more I look at it and photos of first gen Camaros, you can see how this car evolved---Cadillac just happened to wake up first with a similar design, but you can see the Camaro roots ----I would however like to see maybe 17'' wheels showing more rubber than wheel and maybe connect the rear lights like the first gen Camaros and put 400hp under the hood --I think they're on the right track--Let's hope the plug doesn't get pulled.....--An RS should look

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Wouldn't mind if they "de-cadillaced" the front end just a bit. Still, looking better every day.

I was at the Chicago auto show on Thursday evening, I hate to admit it, but I like the Challenger better than the Camaro. And I'm a lifelong chevy guy!

Lynn [/ QUOTE ] I can see how some people see Cadillac styling in the rest of the car with the sharp lines etc, but those aren't reserved for Cadillac. The front end looks like anything but a Caddy to me. Cadillac uses a smooth/flush front end with tall sharp lamps. I don't see that at all in the new Camaro ![]() Regarding the pricing, lets hope GM learned a valuable lesson in how they priced the SSR pickup. |

Maybe it's just me...........but I don't think there's one single thing about that car that looks like a Camaro......in spite of where GM says it got it's so-called styling queues.
I'm not saying it looks bad - I'm just saying it's not retro. Nothing on it reminds me of a Camaro. I'm supposed to be mesmorized by the slots in front of the wheel wells??? |

IMO, it should look more like a Camaro than a Cadillac. I should not be too concerned because I think GM will price this car too high to make it a big seller.
