The stripe SHOULD have the break for the engine ID. Also, there are several parts suppliers that sell a proper stencil kit to paint the fender portions. I've seen too many shadetree hockeysticks that look more like a broadsword or a snake that swallowed a rat. They're almost always TOO FAT.
Also, early cars had the fender portion extended onto the lower fender extension. I'm sure I can find some pics. Let me look. |
