Pete gets enough press as it is, and I hear he has more coming! Anyway, thanks for the props, Rusty...I hear it mentions the *easy* passes in the mid-14 second range, something that we *definitely* need to work on by next year. I thought I put the whammy on the trans linkage on the 1-2 shift on the first pass, as it hung on pass #2, but it may be a little more serious, as we are getting some serious puddles of gear oil from under the car...

Rob / Tom, beautiful job on that thing. I noticed the Van Chevrolet badge and just remembered something. In 69' my father in law purchased a new L78 Nova from Van. He used it as his "tow vehicle", for pulling his drag car to the track. He said he liked the extra power for pulling up hills.
