Go to Google and do a search. Plenty of info on Winfixer and instructions for removal.

follow these steps Tom.
1) www.downloads.com 2) search for "Ad-Aware"... download, save, install, run 3) search for "spybot search and destroy"... download, save, install, run 4) www.google.com... search for thier pop-up blocker its great. 5) run both programs twice a week! For all board members who are PC users, PLEASE protect your investment (aka your computer), follow my steps. Its well worth it!

The easiest fix I found was downloading the trial version of "Super Ad Blocker" and running it. I was so impressed with it's performance that I went ahead and bought it.
