Hemi Convertible

That's the $4.1 million dollar 1971 Hemi ragtop that was at the ill-fated RM auction last month. I believe the 70 hemi Charger R/T next to it belongs to the same gentleman. Rumor has it he has been starting a 1970 Hemi Charger collection lately.

Hey Steve...When I saw that Yellow Charger...I immediately thought of you and your Red Charger...

Amazing stuff seen weekly at Pavillions!

Both cars were in the Hot Rod magazine when Bill Weinman's collection was featured. I wonder if both cars were bought together by the new owner. Sure looks that way!

Thanks for the pictures Bruce!

As far as I know they are still Bill W's cars. The Cuda only bid to $4.1 mil, it was a no sale along with a half dozen of his other cars (and just about every other car at that alleged auction).

Reminds me of a car I used to see driving to work everyday......I would be going east and he going west.....it was an early Camaro that had a couple of Holley Carbs and a scoop(clear Plexi-glass) bolted to the carbs....I never got a good look at it but I always wondered how he could drive it in the rain or snow without an air filter........Anyhow , one day I see it in a Gas station getting gas with the Hood open........the Carbs were bolted to the Hood......
I See Grasshopper.........
