yes mine have that two sided tape on them that is old
I will replace the two sided tape with something else does anyone know a good strong glue to put them back so that they wont shake off with the new big block.Did Motion use made in Japan Valve covers in 1971?? suprss70

If you can shake off 3M double sided tape without a big screwdriver, lacquer thinner, and 20 minutes of cussing, you have the baddest big block I ever saw.
 In fact, make sure they're exactly where you want em before you even make contact with the tape, you only get one chance.

Hey Peter, nice looking valve covers. on page 33 of baldwin/motion forum there is a topic on valve covers, has some really good info about why some valve covers have japan 739 in them & why some are chrome & some are not.
