Default Re: Research your VIN

My two cents.......I just bought a Canadian Built 67 SS427; According to info I found, Canadian built means just that, built in St. Therese or Oshawa. Very rarly, if ever, was a car built in the US for delivery from a Canadian dealer. This according to Alan Colvin, author of Chevrolet, By the Numbers. GM Vintage Services is a great source of info with just a VIN#. The different provinces (Ministrys of Tranportation) will do a very impressive title search for just about $12 bucks! DO YOUR RESEARCH...........it counts in the end....and was fun for me!
