This reminds me of the 4 door, 4 speed 409 Biscayne that was at Barrett Jackson this past January...according to the description, it was used by a Texaco employee as his business car in the oil fields...

Saw that car at the Bob's Big Boy cruise night in Burbank last fall..owner had all the original Texaco field log books in the trunk to boot..

AHH you California guys, how can you stand it out there? Don't you ever get sick of the weather, the scenery, the blue Pacific, the cars, the old drag strips, the drive-in-car hops, the rust free sheetmetal, and especially some of the babes, not to take anything away from the Napa Valley winery's, and the giant red woods, even Alcatraz!
