Doughnutblue is correct, The idea that he played a right handed guitar "left handed" without restringing it for a left hander is a total myth...while Hendrix did indeed play a right handed strat upside down, it was simply because he was left handed. His guitars were strung the same way any left handed guitar would be strung.

Jimi dug his toys too.
 I know there is a pic of Jimi somewhere with him sitting in a 68-69 Corvette. You can only see the door and the mirror. Mr.70 or someone who is always looking up these weird pics find it!
