No matter what the outcome, the fact is the true VIN for that car is 124377N184434. This is verified by the partial VIN under the cowl and you can also check the partial under the heater box by the blower motor. The partial VIN also matches by the build date and body code on the trim taq.

If the VIN on the title is the 6 cylinder VIN I would do what I could to get the car legit and/or resaleable.
