Thanks JD, Joe, Jeff and Chris...I've been shopping for another Yenko Camaro for a year, or so. I'm glad I waited for this particular car, having passed on 5-6 others in the last 10-12 months. This 20,000 mile car comes with it's original drivetrain and interior, plus there's gobs of paperwork and documentation. There's even a picture of Don Yenko himself with this car from back when it was new. Evidence of a racing roll bar is confirmed by the holes in the floor and wheelhouse, so it's fortunate that the original engine, tranny and rearend survived.

The picture that Joe posted is from SCR3, when Ron and Pam Vorhees owned the car. With some reluctance, Pam agreed to sell me the car, and I thank her very much for her willingness to let the car go to a new home. Don Clark was especially helpful with getting this deal done. Don is a collector, enthusiast and a sYc member and this deal would NOT have happened without his help and cooperation...so special thanks to you, Don! I should also mention that Tom Clary played a role in what must have been providence that the car was made available to me. Also, thanks to Dennis Carpenter for making the "closing" convenient and fluid. Other forum members involved in this endeavor include Brian Henderson, Marlin Spotts and Chad Blomberg...thanks guys!

It is truly a pleasure to be a part of a group like the sYc, where helping others is both spontaneous and unconditional. Except for the giving and willing attitude of so many friends here, this car would not be headed for Las Vegas. On not a single occasion, over the last several months, did anyone ask for anything in return for helping me pursue this end...not once!
