------Check a couple of things. NO.1 is rust. I know, I know, you said there was none, check some more anyway. Its in almost all Austin-Healys. The floor first and then the rear quarters and the front footboxes. NO.2 see if anything was done with the rest of the car to bolster the switch. Last poster mentioned the rear-end. If its the original A-H rear its open and the first time you pop the clutch the car will come out from under you. These conversions were handfuls unless well thought out. How was the cooling system done? ETC.
