I think there was a phone bidder on the 3-million '54 Olds concept car and that's why we didn't actually see another bidder going against "Ferrari guy." I'm almost positive it was Ferrari guy against the phone bidder.

Bud's right, you can't bid against yourself. When it's your turn to bid you can throw down a big number to try to knock the other guy(s) out of the running but if the bidding stalls you can't keep yelling out bids without at least one other bidder pushing the price higher. What would be the point of bidding against yourself? Yeah, there's some questionable prices being paid (IMO) for some of those cars but no one out there is paying one cent more unless another bidder makes them.
