Default Re: Did B/J sell a real Z16 Chevelle?

That was most certainly a Clone that just went across their block for 40K.
The Z16 Chevelle used a Hydraulic cam engine,rated 375HP @ 5600RPM.
The Vette had the solid lifter cam version of this engine rated 425HP @ 6400 RPM.
The Z16 used a rigid frame, stiff springs,& reinforced 4 link suspension,w/stabilizer bar helped make it possible to put down two equal black patches under hard acceleration using a 3:31 open.A car definitely ahead of it's time!
