Jesse James complains that his shop has become "Fu___n' Sea World" because of all the tourists who mob the place now that he's a celebrity. I suppose if Jesse really didn't like it he could kick the Discovery Channel off his property and cancel his multi-million dollar contract with them. I guess he's not that unhappy about being "Fu___n' Sea World"...

The Boyd Coddington show is getting old too (IMHO). Too much soap-opera and scripted drama among the shop guys. After watching "Hot Rod Garage" I'd be afraid to spend $250,000 on a Boyd car because of all the chaos in that shop!

Yeah Bruce, but Overhaulin' drives me crazy because I want my car to be "Overhauled" (for free, that is) by Foose's shop. I keep leaving my garage door unlocked but the car's still there. I should probably move to L.A., closer to where the show is.

I don't think boyd has any respect for classic cars. Like how they trashed all the parts and motor on the gt mustang. Also if you caught the episode of rides a few weeks ago, you find the Charlie no longer works for Boyd. he now paints for Foose. I to wish they'ed come to the east coast. I have two 69 conv. camaros that need Overhaulin.

Yeah, the way Boyd hacked up that stock '27 Model T coupe was kinda' sad. Plus, you almost never see Boyd getting dirty with the shop guys yet Foose is there all night if need be. I suppose Foose is being well-compensated for his all-nighters but his energy can't be denied. Boyd hops in his Bentley, or Aston Martin (whatever it is it's $$$), and heads home at sunset. No wonder Charlie bailed.

Anyone know that Courtney Hansen (Overhaulin) is the daughter if racing great Jerry Hansen. I saw Jerry Hansen race at Road America June Sprints all through the 70's in his big block Corvette, among other cars.

From the Overhaulin' web site:
"Courtney grew up in the world of auto racing. Her father, Jerry Hansen, who once owned Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota, attained 27 national SCCA titles during his career, making him one of the most successful drivers in history. No wonder Courtney is a car enthusiast. She also works as a spokesperson for Rolls-Royce Motor Car, Limited."

What a pack of clowns Boydd has working for him. Yet he goes on about how he has the best team in the hotrod world. I see that most of the american hot rod cars are for sale at BJ. Maybe the people that bought them had some problems. It's to bad becouse Boydd was well respected in the rod world, maybe all his finacial problems in his past have caught up to him and he seen an opertunity to make some money with his own TV show. Did you know that Jesse James used to work for him, so did Foose.

Not to be politcally incorrect or anything, but does anyone know what is wrong with one of Boyd's shop guys? The one who seems to have some paralyzation of his face or something? That really draws attention during the shows. And, I would really like to kick the foreman's a**--what a jerk!

Can't remember the dudes name, i think it's Mike, but the episode that they were test driving the Alumicoupe on the salt flats, he was recanting a story of how last time they were there test driving a car he had crashed it and ended up having head injurys and was hospitalized for some time. Boydd had mentioned that he was in pretty bad shape. Consider that there is'nt much safty equipment in those rods, i did'nt see them installing any seatbelts?
