I have seen conflicting reports as to if warren has any records or knows about this car. And have seen that maybe 3 of these cars where built by yenko.

I didn't see anything about it being a clone. For $350K it better be about 10 Yenko clones.
James "This car needs a good exterior cosmetic paint restoration back to the original tuxedo black." I guess this answers the question. This would be the first "original tuxedo black" Yenko Chevelle. ![]() James

I did not see anything about clone in the description either. But the window sticker looks like one that can be bought on ebay. I also question blue paint on the engine block. And crappy pics, and none of the engine pad. Roger

The VIN, 136379B397125, is not on the list of Yenko Chevelles. How many emails do you think he has already telling him he is full of it??

I think I have seen this in Hemmings at some point too.

Is this the one in NJ? Been in Hemmings about 3-4 times? If it's the same guy, it was an interesting story from three or four years ago.

This guy's story is laughable. "Paperwork to document authenticity comes with the original window sticker from Yenko Chevrolet which is in perfect shape and was found in driver’s seatback."
![]() Not to mention, there isn't a single legit Yenko piece on this car, from the repro tail panel emblem, which is naturally placed incorrectly, to the crude out of proportion repop stripe kit, which also looks suspiciously fresh as compared to the rest of the car. I doubt if this thing has even been a "Yenko clone" for very long, if you even wanna call it that. A total fabrication, and an outright lie. ![]() I just love that high optic tach mount for the seeing impaired...musta been an early precursor to the hood tach. If it needs to be that in your face, why not just mount it to the visor on your helmet? ![]() I'd love to see the e-mail's in this guy's inbox. ![]() |
