Yep, they want to protect their business - that's OK.
I bought a rebuilt booster through local parts place that I trade with often ($76 + $25 core). I'll gut it and put the parts in my perfect, date correct shells. Backwards, I know, but I'm kind of funny about doing stuff myself. I'll also be done with it before a rebuilder would have even received it. The Camaro and Chevelle parts houses also have the rebuilt boosters, of course (at more $$) as does NAPA. Thanks. Dave
