Steve,
Since the car did not make it to Dallas for the start of the tour I have not seen it in person, can you post a picture of the front end of the HRSS? Kelly |

Charley, LVCamaro and all,
I spoke with Helen today, I understand the tour is coming up Hwy 67 out of St. Louis, to Davenport. That is the route I always take to and from to LaHarpe from St. Louis. You will be just 12 miles or so from LaHarpe. The good new is Helen and Nancy will be joining the tour just north of Macomb, at the junction of Hwy 67 and Hwy 9. She will be in her '02 ZL1. ![]() I am planning on coming from the North, and will hopefully avoid some of the traffic if I'm early enough. Is Matt Murphy on the tour? ps. when you come through Beardstown, the old track is just south of town, about a mile east. Any old timer in town will know exactly. This pic is from Beardstown, 8/10/67. |

Just got back from checking out the Power Tour. Wow, saw lots of neat cars, including Charley's "El Mule", with the twin turbos and all, and of course, spent alot of time checking out Sandlin's 2004 SS Chevelle. Looks even better in person. And it may have cost me, as Tommy let Rob slide behind the wheel.

Just got back from Springfield...simply AWESOME. Got to see Clill & the Mule, Larry Christensen & the Twister(?), Tommy White and the Aloha/Imagine boys with the HR454SS, Frank Radake, Jim Parks?, saw/heard the Berger/GMMG/Harrell car, saw an '02 ZL-1 (#29 I think), LOTS of GMMG/Hot Rod Edition Camaros, and literally THOUSANDS of other cool cars. If you can find the time, get to a tour stop...you will NOT be disappointed.

Yes I went to Walmart and bought a can of Freon but there was a clamp in the way. Later on at the show the GM contracted suport crew came and spent a bunch of time fixing my AC. They work for Wheel to Wheel in Mi but are hired by GM to assist any GM owners with car problems. While they were under my car it started pouring down rain. I now have AC. They also helped a Camaro with a broken pushrod by swiping a pushrod and rocker arm from one of the display engines. Great guys....And Budnate..I did used to have a CFC license..

I'm trying not to think about all those cars going through the tollways...man there's going to be some P.O.'d people because it's going to take them longer to get through the tollway because of the Power Tour....
