THE DIFFERENCE WOULD BE THE CANADIAN PONTIACS WERE BUILT ON CHEVROLET FRAMES SO THE AMERICAN BODY WOULD NOT BOLT ONTO THE CANADIAN FRAME. I BELEIVE THE AMERICAN PONTIACS HAD WHAT THEY CALLED A "WIDE TRACK" FRAME AND SUSPENTION. IF YOU LOOK AT COMPARIBLE MODELS OF CANADIAN & AMERICAN PONTIACS (LAURENTIAN & CATALINA, FOR INSTANCE) YOU WILL NOTICE THE WHEELS SIT FURTHER IN ON THE CANADIAN MODELS.
