PS- Jeff,I thought I might drive your baby to the grocery tomorrow. Gonna rain but I figure she could use a good rinsing off after sitting in the barn all winter. OK with you right?

Annie, be sure and take along your registration, insurance card etc. AND SLOW DOWN. Other wise we might need to wire transferr your bail $$$.

Tom

Thanks for the reminder! But "SLOW DOWN"??????? Now that's funny! Maybe I should explain...at 2347.miles on the new truck, the check engine light came on last night. On Star says there is something wrong with the fuel line. Not wanting to cause farther damage, I didn't feel it wise to drive the truck 40+ miles this a.m. And, because the cops are just a bit too familiar with Muffin, I had no choice but to take the "other" Camaro.

Well, by the time I was done at the grocery store, and the grain elevator the trunk was full. Not to worry, the two bales of hay I picked up from a local farmer fit perfectly in the back seat. The real trouble came when I stopped at an antique store and discovered the rocking chair I simply had to have wouldn't fit in the passenger seat. However, a farm girl is never without baling wire and in a few minutes that ole rocked was anchored solidly on the roof.

I got home,(without getting arrested this time)unloaded the car and put her back just like she was never out...I got most of the hay out of the back. The scratches left by the rocker and baling wire are hardly noticeable after I hit them with a little bit of rubbing compound. And the trunk looks real good too since I hosed it out to get rid of the mess the exploded soda cans made.

Don't spend that bail money yet... After such a good trip, I think I am going to drive her to a hog roast tonight. You know, one of those deals where everyone drives out to the middle of a big field......

Annie...........you didn't back into any ditches or drive through any medians with Jeff's car did you?

If not, it should be intiated like some other members cars should it not? Or maybe the trip to the grocery and feed stores with the side trip to the antique store could be considered an intiation?

Ann,
Based on our conversation the other night, I can vouch for you never taking the Camaro out but don't you think you should come clean with Jeff regarding the dogs? I know it was cold out but 3 dogs in the back seat of that car versus out in the yard is a little much don't you think. Now tell him how the scratches REALLY got there.

Scratches? I wouldn't worry about them. A little polishing and they will surely come out.

It's the smell in the interior.

Jeff, do you own a pooper scooper?

Also, do you own any stock in Lysol & Mr. Clean?

I had to turn away when that big dog was in the seat and lifted his leg over the steering wheel.......

WOW. I knew that car looked familiar. Was that you? I thought Jethro had traded the old truck for a Camaro and lost Granny at the last stoplight!
So when did you weld the trailer hitch to the bumper? I knew we had talked about a fifth wheel ball on the roof but I guess your welding classes must have required some "homework" huh? Don't worry Jeff....she did a great job (barely noticable) and only plans to pull the horse trailer, not the car hauler.

Annie, did you put the Mud Tires on before you headed to the hog roast like I asked you?
