Chuck, i agree with your statement. When i see a high dollar item with many bids from a zero feedback, makes you use caution. Roger

Yeah, if I see 1 or 2 people with zero feedback bidding on something I'd like to have, I use caution and make sure I don't overbid. I'm surprised this block has been bid up this high and not met the reserve. If it's the original block for your COPO then it would have a lot of value, but for someone looking to replace a missing COPO engine, this block is already 60 over so is it really worth this much to people replacing a missing engine? Also, the VIN looks to fall in the Canadian COPO range so the car might be easy to document without this block anyway.

Did anyone buy this? I have the shell to the car this came from, badly damaged. I refuse to pay what this guy has as bottom dollar, 10K, if anyone buys this I would consider selling the basket case to go with it.

It would be worth doing "IF" you did have the original engine, would need all new metal execpt roof, rockers, and part of the cowl. No doors, front metal, no sub frame, no rear frame rails, no rear inner fenders, no floor, etc. Was dropped over an Alston race chassis.
