I don't know what happened to it, but I talked to the owner when it was for sale and I think he said there were no numbers on the engine due to it being decked for a rebuild.

yeah, i feel so sorry for those people that have their original blocks decked without knowing the process will wipe out the pad number, poor guys.

If the info is correct and it is a 9400 mile car #s matching it is no wonder it sold. Besides the value of a #s matching low mile Z it may have historical TA race value as well, depending on who raced it and where.
