Suburban - hands down. I have one (a 1990 model) and it's got 230K on the clock. I'll replace it with another one.

You can score a used one for short money.

Go with your gut and you know the answer. When my wife wanted a "mini-van" to compliment the suburban she was whining for a windstar. I insisted on the astro. And we know that choice paid us back when it mattered. My experience with fords is they explode. literally. I don't know why mrF can't build stuff that won't catch on fire when it gets whacked.
