I had to take this a little further and went today and looked at a few 1969 Camaros other than mine, one was a all original trunk pan in a 69 Z/28 waiting to be restored and this is what I found on all.The sealer on the trunk pan and the pannel seams were white to gray as some believe but all of the drain covers had a tan to brown looking sealer and this was repeated on many more than the one 1969 Z/28 Camaro that i looked at and the floor pan drain covers have the same brown to tan sealer as I had stated in my first reply. The los built 1969 Camaro I am restoring now also reflects the same findings and it was a nice rust free car that had not been restored or ever had any sheet metal or trunk pan work....so (maby) we should say that some had white to gray and some had tan to brown instead of all being the same as (some) believe.
