05c 355870 890144 st 68-13837 bf 12323 body tr 766-178 - - pnt i am more of a pontiac collector, i know the car is rare, but how do i find out how many of these things were built this color in 68? thanks, rob... |

I'm not sure if figures exist for paint color production. I have only seen that data for 1st-gen Camaros on the CRG site. I owned another '68 SS396 with special paint and I've seen the "--" codes on a few '70 Chevelles as well. Certainly it's uncommon to see the special paint code but I would venture a guess that 1-2% of these cars got special paint.
