Default Re: '70 Nova SS L34 discussion

Allen;

I already had your pictures book marked since I have admired your car for awhile! Here is what I see: Your Nova reached the point of having the trim tag stamped on Monday September 29 or Tuesday the 30 (the 9E on the body tag). It made it out of paint and to the trim on Friday October 3 or at least your seats were made then. What I do not see is the body number with the sheet info. Is that the part that is missing from the sheet?

Allen, I do not want to seem like I am picking you car apart. I edited most of my comments out. I am sure you have looked into the codes. If the body number is missing from your sheet, I wonder if maybe your seats were destined for another car similar to yours. The sheet was in the seat. What if two sets of 733 seats were sitting together and the assembler grabbed the closest set for your car even though they were built for another car? Or it could be they messed up.

At least you found a sheet. I came up empty. I will re-look at your info in the morning.

Greg
