What is this Hood

I thought the point on the first gen stinger hood started a couple of inches behind the front of the hood.

The hood was also made without the "stinger", as found on the Bill Hielscher "Mr. Bardahl" '67 427 Camaro SuperStocker, Yenko/Dick Harrell '67 427 SuperStocker driven by Mike Garfinkel, Courtesy/Dick Harrell '67 SuperStocker driven by Gene Rains, and 67 Z28 Gibb Stock Eliminator "Little Hoss".

The hood copolocater sold me is an original "Mr. Bardahl" hood and was brand new, no paint ever! Thanks again Tim...............RatPack......................
