Rechecked cam from Belk's car,and I don't find a part number on either end. Maybe two
numbers on dist. gear end, but I can't make them out. Forward four lobes is the cast in 2182, below the next lobe is cast out GM14 and 180 is cast out 14. I was told by Lujack Chevy parts people that new cams are made in Mexico. We put a Lunati in the deuce were restoring. I think Dave used a comp. Original cams ran strong. Really didn't drop off till about 7000. LT-1's sing at 7000 just don't stay to long. As far as value, if it's GM new orginal, maybe some,to the right person. Schonye |
