Rob; Sorry I did not catch your post on KK. I raced a DY 69 copo at kk back in the 70s. I can't recall his name but the orig owner was from Bellbrook. A small town about 6 mils from Xenia. I think he got it new from Langs Chevy in Xenia.

I've just spent the last hour or more reading this post... wish I had been born in Ohio! My COPO Chevelle was registered in Columbus, OH back in 1985. The car was originally dover white with black vinyl top and red bench - column shift auto. It's a long shot, but does anyone remember the car? After reading this post, I see that it won't be easy tracking the car's dealer history.... ![]() |
