Steve,
I have the name of the salesman that supposedly owned the black car somewhere in my notes... I'll post it when I locate it. This salesman moved away from the Cleveland area for quite some time, but returned two or three years ago. I tried to get in touch with him through a third party, but to be honest, I haven't really followed up on this in over a year... Maybe I'll make a few calls this weekend and see what I can turn up. I am not sure if this is a car that he purchased new or if it was a demo, but either way, he was driving it in 1969. I also received a call from the owner of the Butternut yellow car a couple months back... I plan on calling him and will find out if the car was delivered with spoilers or not. I find it interesting that although there are plenty of Prout Camaros out there, I have yet to hear of one of the Chevelles that they sold... Anyone know what might have happened to them? Regards, Stan |

The black car is a 06A X44 car,has D80,but not on the tag.The Butternut car is a 03B X44, no D80 on tag (early)but has a spoiler. Both cars are 9737.The Butternut car is radio delete, black car has center fuel....I can't find the name on the black car.......I know the yellow one was "Hermans" car.I have spoken with him (present owner) over the winter and can't remember his name.Shame on me!
