I have a 1967 Fitch Firebird. It was a
conversion car like the Shelbys and Yenkos. The cars were done by a road racer named John Fitch in CT.To the best of his recollection he made between 6-12 cars. The cars had a reworked steering box & brakes, special shocks, Lucas driving lights, screen over the lights, one time wiper switch, headlight flasher switch, light monitoring panel, and sail panels that sat on top of the rear quarters that ran from the roof line down to the tail light panel. This made the car look like a AMX from side. All the cars were 400ci engines with the exception of one Sprint OHC-6 car(which is mine). He also did 64-69 Corvair conversions called Fitch Sprints, and a one off car of his own using 66 corvair drivetrain.
