Brian,
I agree that Don Fezel's Allen Green Z-11 is very sweet. I find it interesting that Don's collection of Z-11s have ties thru the delivering dealerships to later super cars. Don has a Z-11 from Allen Green, a Z-11 from Ammon R Smith, and a Z-11 from Enoch Chevrolet, Enoch became Dana Chevrolet, Green was a Yenko dealer, and Ammon R Smith was the delivery site of some of the first hi-po Novas and Camaros. Very neat. Andrew |

CamaroRus - Do you know how or why Boeing used a ZL1 as a test vechicle involved in the 747 Airliner program? Sounds like an interesting story there.

Somebody, whose screen name I dont recogonize, wrote me E-mail stating that Dick Tutino is living in Mooreshead, S.C. with his son....and certainly Dick should be telling the ZL-1 #27 story....however I "think" that Boeing needed a FAST accellerating vechicle to tow one of those Bicycle looking wheels ...and clock braking distances ???
regards, chuck
