My father used to buy about a dozen cases of Schaefer around every Memorial day and stack them in the garage to supply a beer dedicated Frig there. The garage would basically stay open for the whole summer, lol,and the neighborhood would stop by regularly to grab a beer. Mailman, Meter reader guy, everybody, would just stop and help themselves. When the beer either ran out or it started having a skunk taste to it, you knew winter was just around the corner.
