LOL.........we did not get a THING for snow last night. I held off on much of my plowing as we were supposed to get 2-4" up here. They then changed that to 1-3". I had to chuckle this morning when I saw nothing. At least it wasn't the 6-10" they were call for a few days ago

We were in the "band" and got 6". Always nice to NOT have to plow when it misses.

I started today with installing the exhaust manifolds today. I have been using high temp copper RTV on the cars where I want to replicate OE (no gaskets). It's a little tricky not to get RTV everywhere (much like anti-seize) when doing this with the engine already in the chassis. That was a success.
![]() I casually kept plugging away at it all. I enjoy this part of the process, added to the fact I double check everything (or at least most everything). All went well and I am really close to turning the tail on it. ![]() ![]() But, no good deed goes unpunished. I started filling the coolant and discovered that I f'd up one of the water pump gaskets. Good help is hard to find........ ![]() Time for a beer The new gaskets will be here tomorrow

I used to keep 2-3 sets of those gaskets on hand, so I didn't have to wait when I screwed up...
![]() Thermo housing gaskets too. The manifolds, do you let the rtv set up overnight before install ? I've installed a few sets of Sanderson headers and they specify letting it sit that long. I was skeptical on the first set, but none of the installs ever leaked...
