was the bolt in and painted then pulled out to install harness bracket or was it left out then installed with the harness bracket

May not help but harness- bracket is not painted.
69 L78 Chevelle Bolt has orange on it Lemans blue is brushed on over the orange but not the bolts. Bellhousing was painted off engine. Last edited by daveg; Today at 12:21 AM. |

Sems to me there is a mixup in the linked thread.
The smaller bracket in middle pic is a match for the one on the Chevelle. Well other than being a bit bent up. Bolts were obviously out on the Chevelle when the Lemans blue lacquer was brushed on, but all have orange paint showing. Pulleys and alt brackets also got the blue treatment. Upper pully getting the old Aircraft stripper treatment. Did not take pics of the bell bolts but this is one of the end exhaust manifold bolts. Bell bolts were in better shape. |
