Had the implant done yesterday. Still some groggyness and dizziness but Doc said it went well. Went with Med-EL brand and the company rep was there during the surgery. The Med-El brand I'm told is the only one that has a MRI done to know the exact length to make the electrode that extends into the Cochlea and not fold over. They won't turn it on for a month. No idea what it looks like under the bandages... Yuck.

It could be fun at MCACN, with people talking smack on your left, thinking you are still deaf on that side...
