Good info and thanks for the pics. If the hood has a provision for the hood latch then would the outboard be
the better solution?

Eddie, I would say yes. If you’re using the center hood latch I would space the hood pins out further.

My hood is exactly like the on RobR pictured above. On mine the pin holes are located on the center brace that goes across the front. That brace is directly over the radiator support. When I have the SS hood on it I put a dummy bolt in the hood pin hole of the radiator support.
