Well Chris, hard to tell without seeing it in person. The closeup pix do seem like factory orange peel lacquer, but a couple things bring pause.
Being a Malibu it should have the stainless trim bars on the taillight lenses. It has a Super Sport grille (looks like all the punched slots on the ends plus SS blackout) so maybe a repro SS grille with the center emblem added?? Actually this grille as is would be correct for a Concours wagon! Interesting that it has an AM/FM radio but appears to have an AM only adjustable mast antenna. Not often seen accessory pass side outside mirror. It is a really cool wagon, looks like it's passed between dealers? Any idea what the first dealer was asking? $35K seems all the money. Call me weird but I actually like it better with the flat wheel covers...
