Tell the seller you may have a local guy come pick them up or meet somewhere. Maybe then he'll text with you.
I've also offered extra for the seller to just drop off at a UPS Store. The seller doesn't have to worry about shipping or packaging. Only has to tell you which store he would be using. You call the store directly to go over the shipping details and payment. Options I used in the past. Good luck.
