I do believe that the El Camino was the real deal, I bought it from a corvette guy that knew nothing about it and he had taken it in a trade. All the numbers and parts were correct, it had power windows, tilt wheel and turbo 400 trans. The options and location it came from was why I always suspected it to be a GM executives car.
