Been awhile since an update on this car. Things are happening. Just not much to show in the way of pictures. The engine is still at the machine shop. I’m hoping to get the block and heads back around Christmas time and then I have to bring the crank to a local guy to balance the rotating assembly.
Transmission parts are all out at Libertys. Should be back around that same timeframe so I can begin assembly on that.
The rolling chassis went out to Pennsylvania the week of Thanksgiving for subframe connectors, cage install, steering column install, Ladder bars, and engine mount front and mid plates. He’s an older guy who works when he feels like it, I’m not in a hurry. He doesn’t have a cell phone so he sent me some picture today using his girlfriends phone.
I’m going up there around Christmas and new years so the cage can be set up around me and everything can be tacked into place. More pics in the future.
