This is the special Delco bolt. It is 100% correct for the 1962 starter in question. I nerd out on stuff like this and it happens to be my every day wheel house. I do respect others opinions.

No, that is the shouldered bolt that is in question on the starter.

Bolt McCune pictured is the pivot bolt for the solenoid fork. It's not the same as the bolts that hold the starter to the bellhousing.
