Great thread, here is my 1969 427 Corvette. My wife and I purchased from original owners in 1992. Survivor, not restored. My plan was to restore it, however it’s such a nice driver I can’t bring myself to do it. Pictures are with original owner who was in the USNA in Annapolis Maryland. The pictures of Captain “Wally” were taken in Pensacola Fl in early 70’s. Picture of the 2 young ladies on the front lawn were taken when the car was 3 days old. They are Wally’s younger sisters, parked on his parents front yard. I bought the car from one of Wally’s sisters. Rob

Some very cool vintage pics of these cars in their early years.
No pics of any of my early cars or bikes. They all went with the ex in '82 and never saw them again...
I do have 1 pic of my 1975 KZ900 in 1976. A high school buddy was freelancing as a photographer by then for extra income and presented it to me. It's around here somewhere, but haven't seen it since the move. I need to dig around and find it now.

Thanks for the bump Pete, I did not know this thread existed - the last posts before the bump were about a month before I bought my COPO. Here's a few pics of said COPO from the early 1970's when it was just converted from street car to a Super Stock D strip car. Car had 1,100 miles on it at that point.

Not vintage, but a modern recreation that captures the aesthetic (I couldn't resist posting):

1969 L78 in the 1970s, and the old pic without the hood scoop was the last time it was driven in November 1983. This is how it looks today!
